Name: Uh, hi...I'm Melissa Walker Age Nineteen years and counting. Gender I think that it is safe to say that I am female. Sexuality I'd hate to disappoint anyone, but I'm pretty sure that guys interest me the most. Occupation I'm the Gym Leader of San Fransisco’s Pokémon Gym. I use water types. Other than that, I'm enrolling into a San Fransisco Community College. If something happens and I can't be a gym leader and give trainers the Poseidon badge anymore, then I guess I sort of want a safety net, you know? I knew that I couldn't go directly into college when I took on the position as Champion for two years, and ended up having to take a year off from school. It's hard to get back in the swing of things, but I'm getting there, I guess. Personality Well, I would have to say that it depends where I am and the people who I am around, the whole situation really. Sure, that's kind of how it is for everyone, but for me especially. Well, in the gym, people consider me to be kind of scary. Some people are too scared even to talk to me. I guess it must me true. I don't really laugh or even crack a smile because I'm focusing on battling trainers, but don't I kind of have to be strictly focused on business when I'm on the job? I figure that if I take my job seriously, that maybe trainers and the other members of my gym will do the same. When I'm outside of my gym setting though, I'm pretty much a fish out of water. I'm still rather serious about things, but not so much intimidating anymore. I never really had a lot of friends growing up because I'm shy, and...as much as I'd hate to say it, I still am today. I'm really weary about talking to other people, always afraid that I'll embarrass myself or say something stupid. That, or sometimes I'm so out of tune with things that I don't even know what to talk about. In the gym, I tend to have a booming voice, but when I'm in the real world around strangers, sometimes the most I can muster is a stutter. When I'm around my closer friends, pokemon, or my kid brother Wesley, I tend to be a lot more relaxed. I smile more, and laugh at almost...well, everything. Around these people, I'm not really afraid to hide anything, even my weird sense of humor. Since I seem to have three faces, sometimes it's difficult to say which one it my "real" personality. Likes Well, since I was raised with them almost, I like water pokemon and swimming. I also really like food...almost any kind. . I'm single, so I guess it's safe to say that I like cute guys. When I get the time, I like to go shopping for clothes with my friends (I guess I really am kind of girly, huh?) drawing...I love video games, usually like Final Fantasy or Persona, and I love playing them with my friends or Wesley. Sometimes when I have nights off I go to a local dojo to practice karate. I have to say, as little as I admit it (there would be no fun in it if I did, and it's kind of my job as a big sister) that I really like my little brother. Sure, he can be kind of a spoiled and he does let being the new Champion get to his head sometimes, but he really is a good kid, haha. Dislikes Well, for starters, I really hate people who abuse pokemon. Really, I hear all of these stories of kids getting bored of their pokemon, or disappointed that they lost a battle, and they tie them to a fence or leave them to die somewhere. Seriously! It pisses me off so much. I also hate places that are too humid, mainly because, well, it messes up my hair and makes me feel like I'm sweating gallons. I also don't like being in big crowds. They're either a bunch of strangers, or a bunch of strangers who know me and bombard me with questions. One time I accidentally walked into Hollywood (long story) and those people from TMZ found me and chased me down the street! I hate the paparazzi who just want to ruin the lives of celebrities. Sometimes I don't blame people like Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears for doing the stuff that they did. Well, if anything else, I hate people who try to make fun of me, my friends, my pokemon, or my brother...I don't think anyone would like that, though. Biography Almost two decades have passed, but I guess that's still pretty young. Well, I was born a well-to-do average/ middle class (though compared to other places, probably filthy rich) family of a small suburbia in the Northeast. My parents, eager for their children to succeed, pushed me almost to the limit when they first discovered that I had a talent for swimming. They were hoping that I could go far in it, get scholarships for swimming into Harvard or Dartmouth, or maybe even one day compete in the Olympics. Even when we went on family vacations, they desperately sought out a hotel that had a pool or a beach nearby so that I could still train. However, I spent so much time swimming that I hardly did anything else outside of school. Consequently, I often didn't know how to deal with people growing up, and became almost extremely shy. So, for my tenth birthday, feeling that I needed some sort of companion, my parents got me a squirtle that I ended up naming Tortuga. For a while, the little guy just kind of watched me in the water, and eventually started following me everywhere. My little brother one day showed me that people "battled" with their pokemon, and shockingly, a managed to beat him, even the first time! We fought again and again, and soon , I started to battle other people as well. Overtime, I managed to get better, and decided that I loved battling pokemon even more than I loved swimming. My parents...well...they weren't very happy when I told them one day that I wasn't going to bother trying out for the team in high school and instead start a journey to take on the Pokemon League. They even told me that I was crazy, that I would be throwing my dream away, blah blah blah. But I think that spending time away from each other helped. They began to support me, though from a distance, and even came to watch when I defeated the former Champion. They were very proud of me then, and still are now. But when Wesley, the day he finally managed to beat me, took my place...I could never have been prouder. Plus, it got a lot less stressful for me to man a gym than it was to manage the entire league. Needless to say, I'm happy where I am right now in my life. well, she’s a lady and ladies shouldn’t be messed with Name: Remy Shepherd Age: 21 Gender: Female Sexuality: Bisexual Occupation: Gym Member; Water Gym: San Francisco, CA I don’t wanna fight you, just to spite you but I’m not afraid to take you out Personality: Remy is an excitable woman, easily moved to emotion. While she exercises a disciplined mind in the field, in social situations she is relaxed and chipper, able to talk to even perfect strangers as simply as breathing. She blends into conversations easily, with an affable and pretty demeanor and a sense of innocence in her face. She is always purposeful, rarely hesitant or shy, and is typically even-tempered. She wields a decent level of self-control, with an arsenal of sharp-tongued bark, sass and a healthy amount of bite lurking just behind. Remy loves her job. She eagerly gets up at the buttcrack of dawn and exercises her pokèmon before the trainers show up to take her on. It’s almost impossible for her to hold hard feelings – in fact, she loves a good battle, loves it when a trainer will challenge her in surprising ways, loves it even more when they beat her and move on to face Melissa Walker. She wants to see people bonding so closely with their pokèmon. She remembers what it was like to do that, to be that spirited. Thanks to her job, she doesn’t travel much anymore, but when she can get away she’ll happily hike across the country the way she did when she was younger. As intelligent, charming and go-lucky Remy often presents herself, she isn’t the type to handle emotions well. They often get in the way of the bigger picture, and she’s biased as all get-out. She’s awful in arguments, somehow unable to see the other person’s side of things. She can get hung up on little things and gives in far too easily to compulsions. Her smart mouth often gets the better of her, and thinking before speaking and acting reaps significant consequences. Likes: Remy loves sweets. She’s addicted to anything with an important amount of sugar in it, though her dentist bills should insist she broadens her diet. She’s not a fan of cold weather, having gotten a little soft during her time in California. She loves the beach and would spend all of her time there should she not have any pressing obligations. Her pokèmon, predictably, top her list of “Likes” and give her an important reason to do what she does best – battle. These creatures are endlessly beautiful to her and she would do just about anything for their happiness. Remy loves to read in her downtime, absorbing fictional works of Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk and plenty of others. She favors the horror genre of any medium – books, movies, performances – and is perfectly content to drag more squeamish friends to showings of anything advertised to be an absolute gore fest. She likes to keep herself busy, entertained and constantly in motion. She’s a people-person, enjoying even the briefest exchanges between colleagues, friends and strangers. Dislikes: Remy isn’t fond of the term “hate,” but she can make an exception for a certain type of individual she often encounters while working at the Water Gym. Condescension makes for a very angry Remy, and people who stomp all over everyone with their nose in the air just makes her blood heat. Nothing takes the cake, though, more than trainers who don’t appreciate their pokèmon. It’s absolutely disgusting, shameful and wrong. The world is full of too many people who abuse pokèmon, and if Remy ever happens to get her hands on one, it’s never a happy ending (for either party, considering the likelihood of a lawsuit). Remy doesn’t take too well to being told what to do. She’ll offer up a suitable amount of respect should she be dealing with her superiors, but otherwise she’ll tend to do exactly the opposite of what she’s told. It’s like a reflex. Biography: Remy grew up on the East Coast in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. The nearby forests and Mount Monadnock provided her with endless adventures as a child and adolescent. Since she was a toddler she’d been interested in the creatures that roamed the wilderness she was so enraptured by. Her father, a traveling businessman himself, took Remy along with him on some of his more exciting escapades when the free time was available. It taught Remy some invaluable lessons. Her childhood best friend had a brother, Jacob, who was a pokèmon trainer. As a result, Remy was very taken with him. He taught her all the basics, a lot of the tricks, and moreover piqued her interest in becoming a trainer. She made a deal with her parents – if she got a GED and a job, she could set off on her own and travel the world. Remy obtained that GED when she was fifteen, saved up every scrap of money she earned until she was almost seventeen, and then set off for California as soon as she knew the way. It wasn’t easy, but she met people exactly like herself. She made bonds with beautiful, irreplaceable creatures. She lost a little, won a lot, and decided to settle down in California when she got the job offer. It paid well, she found a great place to live, and she lives there today. She still talks with her parents every week and lives a happy life right where she is. Still, though, like every ambitious and young-at-heart individual, she’s itching for that clichéd “something more” that she swears is just around the corner. everybody wants me to lose but I’ll never lose who I am Party Pokémon: -starter here- Cloyster Water/Ice Ability: Shell Armor Moveset: Ice Shard Spikes Rapid Spin Rock Blast Vaporeon Water Ability: Water Absorb Moveset: Wish Hydro Pump Hidden Power Electric Ice Beam Milotic Water Ability: Marvel Scale Moveset: Toxic Recover Hidden Power Grass Ice Beam Staryu Water Ability: Natural Cure Moveset: Rapid Spin Thunderbolt Surf Ice Beam Swampert Water/Ground Ability: Torrent Moveset: Curse Earthquake Avalanche Rest Inventory: Great Ball/Ultra Ball Leftovers Antidote Awakening Poison Heal Bike Berries Running Shoes everybody expects me to break But I’ll never break down again Appearance: Remy isn’t much to look at, at 5’3” and an apparently scrawny build. Her give-‘em-hell attitude, though, more than makes up for it. Hard nights at the fitness center and training sessions with her pokèmon have given her a healthy, firm body and a disciplined mind. Generally seen wearing jeans , t-shirts and bathing suits (the weather in San Fran is typically unchanging), Remy will dress up if she feels the occasion. Normally, she just likes to be comfortable. Other: N/A Font Color: Uh… black? Played by: Jenn/Mishalomaniac everybody expects me to give up But they’ll never see me giving in

Name The Pokémon League Champion, Wesley Walker! But I guess you can just call me Wes… Age Does it surprise you that a sixteen-year-old beat you to the top? Gender Quite obviously I’m a guy… Sexuality I’m not gay! I mean… maybe, once or twice, I’ve noticed that a guy is, well… better-looking than others. But that’s it! I like girls, with their obnoxious voices and sickeningly sweet perfumes and inhuman obsessions with aesthetics and weird squishy bodies…they’re…great? Occupation Champion of the Pokémon League, so watch yourself! …and sophomore in high school, I guess… Personality …Okay, so maybe I came on a little strong. Sorry about that… I’m just sick of getting pushed around so much. I don’t know. Some people have told me I have an inferiority complex or something. It’s true that I had to grow up in my sister’s shadow, and I guess that would make me want to succeed even more… and I know for a fact that I’m a winner, so there’s no way those people are right! I may seem to be self-obsessed and cocky, but isn’t that what the Champion is supposed to be like? If you get to know me, though, you’ll see the real me. I’m really a nice guy, honest! I just want people to like me. I’ll do anything for your attention and I’ll do anything to help us both succeed; that is, as long as we’re not competing. Maybe I have a little bit of a Napoleon complex, but—and don’t tell anyone this—really, I just scare easily. I’m not the bravest or strongest person in the world. Likes I love battling (well, more like winning), dance and martial arts, performing, attention, coconut, canine pokémon, video games, traveling, and company. Okay, okay, I guess I like my sister Melissa, too (when she’s not embarrassing me)! Dislikes Losing, losing, and losing. I hate losing. Also, and this doesn’t make me gay or whatever, but girls can be really annoying. Men are so much simpler and easier to get along with. I also hate bug pokémon and materialism. Don’t even come near me with a needle, and get me out of town if I hear the song of an ice cream truck coming down the street. That shit just creeps me out. Biography Oh boy… my life story, eh? If you say so... Although, I guess fourteen years isn’t really all that much. Anyway, here goes. I was born in a boring old typical suburb. My family was a typical upper-middle class family. It was me, Mom and Dad, and my sister, Melissa, who is four years older than me. She’s always looking out for me, but to be completely honest, it just gets on my nerves. All of my life she’s been great at everything that I’m not, and those ended up being the things Mom and Dad cared about. It was all about Mel. She was almost valedictorian in her class. Guess whose standards for grades have been raised? It’s such a pain in the ass. But then she suddenly became obsessed with swimming. Yup. Smartest girl in the whole damn school and she decides to be an Olympic swimmer instead. Mom and Dad were pleased with that, though. Of course they were. If Mel did it, she was fantastic at it, and she could succeed with it. They pushed her to become the best. They even got her a Squirtle just because she was doing so well. They never got me any pokémon. I had to catch them all myself. Maybe that’s why I ended up beating Mel when she became the Champion. A pokémon raised for being sold as a pet could never grow up to be strong enough to win battles. It’s a wonder she got to the top in the first place. …Okay, so that’s not entirely true. You know what? As long as I’m opening up to you, I might as well admit to it. I didn’t win that battle. I mean, yeah, I won it officially, but it was totally a fluke. Mel was kicking my ass right from the start. The only reason she lost was because of some faulty wiring in the ring. The Pokémon League always tries to make the Champion’s room look extra swanky with special effects and everything around the stage, but they put too much effort into it. Naturally, I took advantage of the situation. Wouldn’t you, though? Water types are weak against electricity, and in a tight spot like that…I had come so far that I would even cheat against my own sister. I’m not proud of it, and so I try to forget. She acts like I won it fair and square, praising me and being all proud and whatever. I know that she knows what really happened. It hurts like hell. But don’t think for a minute that just because I got lucky then means that I can’t actually win. I’ve managed to keep trainers away from my medal, haven’t I? My team means a lot to me. I still remember how I met all of them. Cadenza was my first pokémon. I guess I didn’t actually capture her. More like she captured me, as I remember. Some creepy guys in these sketchy looking clothes attacked me out of the blue one day when I was little. They didn’t look like they were from my town. I think I was around seven or eight years old then, so I was scared as hell. I think they wanted to hold me for ransom, since the place we lived was a bit on the wealthy side. They tied me up and put me in this sack with some chemical that made me fall asleep really fast. But when I woke up, I was back home in my bed. When I got downstairs, everyone was so happy to see me awake. I remember just seeing a Lucario with graying fur and an experienced wear in her eyes, sitting on my couch, glancing at me with this motherly expression. Her being there somehow immediately comforted me. And I mean, I was flipping out for a second, because I was still in shock, but she just made me feel safe. My parents told me that someone had seen the Lucario run alongside the car (yeah, she ran that fast), leap right in, snatch me up, bail off of the car, take the sack off my head, and bring me to someone who recognized me. She followed me home and the witness explained what happened. My family was really grateful about it, and asked her to stay. Now, you know Lucarios are very smart. They have brains almost identical to those of a human’s. The fact that she was female was even more amazing. Lucarios were known to be solitary creatures, but females were almost never seen at all, even by researchers in the field. She has a lot of scars, and I don’t know where she came from, but she’s been like a nanny to me ever since. She scratched her name out in the dirt, but that was all she knew how to write. Tristan and Isolde came much later, when Mel had just left on her quest to become the Champion. When I saw them, they were huddled together under the gazebo in the park. I was passing by in the middle of the night on my bike after seeing Mel off at the train station. Their strange colors stood out, as they were blue instead of green, like most Gallades and Gardevoirs. You could tell they were in love; they were so close that it would be hard to prove otherwise. When I approached them, they weren’t shy to ask for help. They were holding an egg that was beginning to crack, and they had nowhere to stay to tend for the baby Ralts when it hatched. I let them into the house, as my parents weren’t home. I stayed with them all night until the egg hatched. Instead of a Ralts, though, it was a Tyrogue! I was confused, but even more so to see that the couple didn’t even look the tiniest bit surprised. The Tyrogue was blue, too. It was an odd coincidence, but I never thought anything of it. He loved capoeira from the first lesson, and he and I have been practicing for a couple of years now, getting extra help from Meia-Lua. Meia-Lua was a gift to me from my capoeira mestre. She was a longtime partner of his in teaching classes, but they apparently both wanted to congratulate me on becoming Champion. She wanted to go with me and help me train while being able to fight new opponents. Setanta was given to me while he was still in an egg. I received him as a gift from the United Kingdom Champion when I went overseas so he could meet me. He's kind of stuck-up and a pain in the ass sometimes, but he's loyal and a great member of the team. Party PokémonTristan the shiny Gallade Male Steadfast Close Combat, Leaf Blade, Psycho Cut, Ice Punch Isolde the shiny Gardevoir Female Synchronize Wish, Teleport, Psychic, Healing Wish Beto the shiny Tyrogue Male Guts Fake Out, Thief, Brick Break, Hidden Power Meia-Lua the Mienshao Female Regenerator Reversal, Drain Punch, U-turn, Focus Blast Setanta the Bisharp Male Defiant Night Slash, Hyper Beam, Poison Jab, Shadow Ball Cadenza the Lucario Female Inner Focus Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, ExtremeSpeed, Flash Cannon Inventory 10 quick balls (I’m impatient), 20 full restores, my trainer card and badges at all times, the latest Droid phone (it’s so handy, and I have so much prize money…), a pad, pen, and a small roll of duct tape (always ends up useful), Champion’s medal (gets me in to lots of places), Pikachu-themed DS Lite (like I said, I hate waiting). Appearance Yeah, like I said before, I admit to having a little bit of a Napoleon complex. I'm really short, okay? I'm only, like, 5'5", and that even that may be pushing it. I'm really skinny, too, so I'm not exactly the strongest person in the world. But hey, that's why I'm not a wrestler! And I do have a bit of muscle, anyway. Capoeira ended up giving me some abs after all. It's weird for me to get used to. I have some really light blond hair, just like my sister. People always feel the need to let me know this fact. It gets annoying, fast. I usually just let it come down in bangs over my forehead, like most guys do. I have hazel eyes, if you really cared to know, and my skin is a nice light tan. Just how I like it: not too orange, not too vampire-pale. Some might even call it olive. Besides, I'd burn quickly if I tried to get it past this color. I don't like trends that much, but I love showing off my love for pokémon; hence the pokéball designs on my clothes. Oh, and hats hardly ever work for me. Good luck finding me in one that isn't a joke. Other A friend recently got me into this Brazilian martial art and dance thing called capoeira. Since my favorite type of pokémon are those that look like humans, a lot of my team loves to learn new moves, just like me! So I figured, hey, why not take them with me to a class and we can all try it out? Well, I loved it the most out of all of us. I didn’t find Beto until later, and I gave him that name because he was obsessed since the moment we showed him how to play. He almost exclusively uses capoeira as his fighting style now. Played by Luke

Name Dr. Jacqueline Marie Dogwood. Friends call me Jackie, but you may call me Professor Dogwood. Age Sixty-seven years worth of wisdom. Gender A stronger woman than any man you’ll ever meet. Sexuality Heterosexual, unfortunately. Men are so hard to deal with. Occupation I have a PhD in both Ecology and Biology, and I have devoted my life to the study of pokémon and the way they coexist with the world. I am a scientist and researcher and also a professor at Amherst College, where I have my own laboratory. Personality I have a reputation about the school for being a no-nonsense, uptight bitch, and I am not angry about it. I have never particularly enjoyed the company of children until they have been trained in manners and humility. I suppose this is why I love to teach. I taught myself a lesson in humility when I resigned from my Elite Four post and decided to devote my life to studying pokémon. I do love watching children grow up and mature, but I simply cannot stand dealing with the little ones. Some call me a workaholic, which I suppose is also true. I believe that if one has a passion, they must follow it as far as it takes them. I refuse to let things get in my way and I know that there is always an answer to whatever predicament one finds themselves in. Sure, I may be a bit of a hardass, but it gets the job done. Besides, it’s not like I don’t have a sweet side. Teaching warms my heart, and seeing my alumni again makes me melt. Likes Licorice, trivia, purple, teaching, biology, pokémon, jewelry, National Public Radio Dislikes Men who act like boys, goofing off, my former husband, beauty-obsessed women, cooking, junk food Biography I grew up in a small duplex in Harlem with my two sisters, baby brother, and single mom. My father divorced my mother when my little brother, the youngest, was two years old. He was an example of a man who was still a boy inside; not mature enough to take on responsibility. My mother was very stressed and had to work multiple jobs, and so my sisters and I had to take on part-time jobs as soon as we were old enough. By the time we were all old enough to move out, I immediately began saving up money to go to college. I figured that life hadn’t treated me very fairly thus far, and so I needed to treat myself to a nice future. I had always been very interested in the origin of species and how pokémon exist with the world. After working four jobs for five years I had scrounged up enough money to pay for four years at Colombia University. There I studied vigorously, and when I graduated I showed great promise. I was offered a full scholarship for four years at Amherst College to study and work with renowned pokémon researchers. My life was flourishing, and as I worked with pokémon, I realized just what fun raising and training them could be. I began training as a hobby, but slowly it became an obsession. I was a natural, and I decided that I could easily become one of those nice success stories you hear about, like Oprah Winfrey or something. I breezed through the Gyms in just two weeks and found myself the Champion of the Pokémon League in the next. However, being Champion does not give a lot of free time (at least, not back in 1992). I missed my days in the lab and the field, experimenting with pokémon and their environments and making breakthroughs in pokémon research. I requested and received a position as the final member of the Elite Four, where I worked for twenty-eight years. It was then that a brilliant young trainer named Melissa Walker came seemingly from nowhere and defeated not only myself, but the Champion, becoming the new one in his place. I was astounded. Thanks to my team, not one trainer had managed to come high enough to challenge the Champion, and I knew that I was stronger than the Champion, as I had beaten him once before when I had challenged the Elite Four at age thirty-six. I was no longer the ace trainer I used to be. Humbled, I looked back to my passions. I realized that the job I had was not for me. I had received a full scholarship for pokémon research and I had loved every minute in the lab, whereas in the Elite Four I could only constantly second-guess myself and grow irritated with both my losses and victories. I knew it was time to resign entirely from the Pokémon League. I returned to Amherst and began my job as a professor and scientist. The job is exactly where I need to be, and I have continued to find solace in my work even through the deaths of my mother and my sister, Josie, to breast cancer. I am the oldest person left in my family and I will never let my brother and sister down. Name: Julius Edward Emerson, if you will. Age: Sixty-five years worth of prosperity and power. Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual, though having been formerly married, I think that I've had enough experiences with women. Occupation: The founder, CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emerson Industries. I graduated Amherst majoring in Chemistry and Biology, and minoring in business. Personality: As far as I can remember, there was never a time when I have not been courteous to another person, and considering that it has always worked in my favor, I do not see any reason not to be. Many would consider my manner of speaking to be highly eloquent and sophisticated, but I find it is only fitting that a man of my upbringing and authority have a decent tongue. It works especially well whenever I need something from others or if I need to conceal some sort of motive others would find distasteful. Even when I am angered or displeased, I do my best to conceal my emotions with a clean sophisticated smile and immaculate persona. One would think that I have a superiority complex, but I find it only natural that I am above others, and am not concerned about what other people think so long as I have the benefit. While it is nice to have a few friends, I find it better and more in my benefit to simply have people and pokemon as servants. I am willing to get whatever I desire, by any means necessary. Likes: As I mentioned earlier, I happen to be in the highest possible rank of my company, and enjoy reaping its benefits and pleasures. I love anything that is modern, sophisticated , and anything else that can harvest the fruits of what my company has grown, and of course the fact that people and pokemon alike depend on my business. I am also quite happy whenever any of my plans are carried out successfully, and of course, who wouldn't be? Dislikes: There are very few things that I dislike. Perhaps, if anything, those who get in the way of my plans, such as my former wife. I also highly dislike failure, and of course, people who incessantly pester me that people and pokemon are equals, when in reality it is simply a matter of master and servant. Humans were made as a superior race, and that is how it should stay. But even within our race, Darwin's theory of "survival of the fittest" People who do not agree with my beliefs are people I simply dismiss as incessant buzzing mosquitos. Biography: I was born and raised in a middle-classed but well-to-do family in the northeast, having lived a very comfortable life and a good upbringing. I had the luxury of being able to attend very good schools, but I often had problems getting along with others. Thus, I focused only on my studies, and was able to leave my high school as the valedictorian and from there developed a rather formidable reputation. I then attended Amherst College, knowing well that I was planning to do something in the fields of business or science, and within a matter of time pokemon biology had piqued my curiosity. I realized overtime that many pokemon by-products held infinite potential to be used for medicinal purposes. almost immediately after graduating the university, I pursued my field, at first working as a laboratory assistant, by gradually ascending up the stairway of success from there on. Soon, I was able to market my products independently, and my business flourished from there. Within only a matter of years, I had gained so many supporters that I was able to found my company. Even more years had passed, and soon my company was even able to buy out all of the pokemon centers in the country, my products mass-produced to the point where improved medicines, potions, ethers, full restores, and many more could be sold in almost everywhere, even beyond the shelves of pokemon centers, from convenience stores to malls. But I wasn't, and still am not, satisfied with just that. My empire is only about a decade old, barely a dent in what I believe will be a dynasty. I began to pursue once abandoned or discarded studies, such as the pursuit of legendary pokemon, or the potential of altering a pokemon's DNA to unleash and exceed its genetic potential. But of course, some many in my company did not agree with my pursuits, and so I can only say that it is their loss that they have missed such an opportunity. It was for this reason, knowing that my new interests are not considered legal or ethical, that I have founded SPECTRUM, a project only known to me, a few other individuals, and any grunt or scientist below them willing to serve us, even if it is just for the money. We have a goal in mind, and it would be very unfortunate for you if you happened to stumble across our plans.
